Train Trip to Gosford

ReView from Gosford

9 members & 1 guest travelled in freezing temperatures to Gosford.

Beautiful scenery of the Brisbane Waters, the oyster leases, boats & The Australian Bush.

The day warmed up & we strolled along the waters edge soaking up the sunshine.

Who knew about the Gosford murals & the poppy fountain? Always something different to see on out trips.

We also made a new friend.

The next 2567 express train trip will now be Tuesday 26/11/19 - destination Cronulla. Approx 1 1/2 hour trip to this lovely seaside town

Leaving Macarthur station at 8.44am

Change at Wolli Creek

Arrive at Cronulla 10.23am

Train departs from Campbelltown Station at 8.50 am - Macathur station at 8.53 am. Arrival into Bowral is 10 am approx.

Lunch is booked at the Kookabar French Cafe for 12 noon. Each couple or single can order their meal and pay separately. (A customer friendly Cafe)

We need to be at the cafe on time, or just before 12 noon as we will have the entire cafe to ourselves

On arrival at Bowral morning tea at your leisure then off to our photography session for Happy Snappers.

2567 Express direction, please refer to Sue Preston for your Bowral experience.

ReView from Bowral

27 members and guests caught the country train to Bowral. 2 other members drove and met us for morning tea. The 2 groups then separated with the photographers viewing the tulip display at Corbett Gardens. The rest of us walked the streets discovering little boutiques and hidden treasures including my favourite...a wool shop.

We then all met for lunch at the Kookabra French cafe  before a final look through town and the train trip home. The weather was absolutely perfect and the members enjoyed their day.

* I worked out that with our morning tea, lunch, admittance to tulips and the purchases made by members that Bowrals  economy benefited by well over $1200.
