Museum Discovery Centre
Another wonderful day starting off in a lovely new coach, Keith our driver eased his way through the traffic delivering us to our destination at Rouse Hill in just under an hour. We had morning tea and then a guided tour through a part of the Museum housing many things from long ago most of which we recognised from our childhoods. A "Real blast from the past". Can't help marvelling at the progress that has been made in such a short time, from farm machinery and household refrigeration, washing machines and lawn mowers, lots to see.
From there we were taken to the Fiddlers Inn where we enjoyed a lovely lunch with a complimentary Pale Ale. Back on the bus and off to the Lyndt Chocolate Factory. Now there weren't many who didn't smuggle their bags of goodies onto the bus and once again it was a lot quieter on the bus going home than it was when we set off. ( I suspect they may have had their mouths full of chocolate)
A big thank you to Steve for organising the day enjoyed by all. Well done.
