Happy Wanderers -
Nine keen HPP members met at the fruit barn on the corner of Macarthur Road and Camden Valley Way, to begin our local walk.
The morning was clear and sunny as we started our walk down Purcell Street, viewing some of the beautifully restored old Camden homes of Elderslie as well as attractive modern residences. Turning into the lower part of River Road the flood plain opened up before us.
Crossing over Little Sandy Bridge and the Nepean River we joined the bike track. We continued through King's Bush, around the softball fields and back onto Camden Valley Way. Back at the fruit barn we enjoyed coffee and lunch.
These local walks are proving very enjoyable, surprising HPP walkers as to local attractions. There was lots of chatter, conversation and one liners happening, keeping us all amused as we strolled along.
Another walk will be arranged at a date yet to be decided so keep a look out in the Newsletter and Website -
